Great-great-grandson of John Absolon (1815-1895) Victorian watercolourist. Philip went to Rede School, Strood. Used to live in Chatham, Kent. At present living in Norfolk. Well known for his unusual cat paintings and pictures of unemployed people in the form of skeletons.Travels by train through Europe visiting art museums. Likes cats, dogs and horses. Does lots of drawings from life and has been drawing continuously since he was sixteen.
