MOSTYN Open 20 selected by Lydia Yee, Chus Martinez, Alfredo Cramerotti and Adam Carr

Exhibition from 8th July to 5th November 2017. I have enjoyed exhibiting alongside artists who work in a conceptual style and think my painting is conceptual anyway. This exhibition is very wide ranging, including the thought-provoking film by Gernot Wieland, a tiny imaginative picture by Oliver McConnie, an exhibition of all the artists' signatures curated by Joe Fletcher Orr on a football, a study in physical equilibrium by Tom Verity and a projection of a mouse periodically returning for food on the bottom of the gallery wall. I think my own work will be influenced by all this in the future.
